# removeLabelsFromCreators

Mutation

Remove label assignments from creators by name; the labels themselves survive. Priced per creator; for large batches use `bulkRemoveLabelsFromCreators`.

Available to agents as MCP tool `removeLabelsFromCreators` — see [Write tools](/api/v2/docs/mcp/write-tools#remove-labels-from-creators).

## Arguments

| `creatorIds` | `[ID!]!` | Yes | — | Creator ids to unlabel, as returned by `searchCreators` or `creator`. At least 1 and at most 40. If any id does not resolve in this workspace, the WHOLE call is rejected (all-or-nothing) with a userErrors entry naming it under `creatorIds`; nothing is written. |
| `labelNames` | `[String!]!` | Yes | — | Label names to unassign. At least 1 and at most 50. Names are not length-capped, so a longer existing label stays removable. Matching ignores case and surrounding whitespace. |

### Remove labels from creators

Remove a label from creators by name; the label itself stays in the workspace.
